When the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) was initiated in 2007, we were invited to design its logo and develop a corporate design.
At that time, sustainability was the killer issue, like today it is climate change. Many companies and organisations decorated themenselves with green leaves, and it was no surprise that these even were featured in the briefing for the DGNB logo, too.
We tried something different.
Take the blue planet.
Wrap some infinity loop around it.
At the outside it is blue.
Inside it is green.
An ideal world this could be.
By the way – the planet is fine.
It's mankind facing a problem.
