When Nimbus decided to unleash their new line of luminaires and set them battery-driven free we decided to be as radical as them and design a fair stand completely illuminated by only untethered lighting. This conceptual idea found its biggest supporter in more than 13 km electrical cords hanging from the ceiling frame. At least to the point when fire safety entered the design process stage. At the end the cords morphed into fabric ropes, loosing their electrical abilities but maintaining their abstract meaning.

Nice luminaires on an even nicer fair stand are nice, but it is also nice to have something nice you can hand out to your visitors. Unleashed luminaires would have been the ultimate give-away, but from a cost-saving perspective not advisable. As such we headed for a printed catalogue instead. Nice.
